I Am Legend is a 2007 American post-apocalyptic action thriller film based on the Matheson novel, directed by Francis Lawrence, starring Will Smith. Other adaptations include The Last Man on Earth starring Vincent Price (1964) and The Omega Man starring Charlton Heston (1971). A new adaptation is planned.
